Boys

  • Black trousers (not cargo style with side pockets)
  • Black shorts for Summer
  • Red or black polo shirt
  • Red or black sweatshirt
  • Black shoes (no trainers)


Girls

  • Black trousers (no leggings or skinny fit trousers),
  • black skirt (knee length) or black pinafore
  • Red and white gingham check dress for Summer
  • Red or black polo shirt
  • Red or black sweatshirt or cardigan
  • Black shoes (no trainers or boots)


Polo shirts and sweatshirts/cardigans do not have to have the school logo on them


Year 6 Pupils (Boys and Girls)

  • White cotton shirt/blouse with either black or red sweatshirt/cardigan with school logo
  • School tie

PE Uniform


PE Kit

  •  Black shorts
  • Plain t-shirt in house colour (Badgers - Red, Owls - Blue, Rabbits - Green and Hedgehogs – Yellow, available from Corporate Tiger)
  • Plimsolls or trainers
  • Long hair must be tied up and earrings removed for PE 


We ask parents not to send children to school in lace-up shoes, unless they have learnt how to tie their own laces.


PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING, SHOES, TRAINERS, SCHOOL BAGS, PE KITS, LUNCH BOXES AND WATER BOTTLES HAVE YOUR CHILD’S NAME AND CLASS CLEARLY MARKED ON THE

St. Christopher's School Uniform is available for purchase via Corporate Tiger. The school does not hold any uniform stock.

General Requirements

  • Uniform should be clean, neat, in good repair and appropriate for the weather.
  • All clothing, shoes and personal belongings brought into school should be clearly named.
  • Footwear – flat trainers/shoes/boots or sandals with straps around the back of the heel and closed toe – no high-heeled shoes or open toes shoes should be worn.
  • Hairstyles to be neat and tidy; long hair must be tied back for PE and swimming.


  • Hats and scarves are not to be worn indoors.
  • No make-up, nail varnish or other fashion accessories to be worn;
  • For health and safety reasons, no jewellery should be worn during PE.
  • PE kit needs to be in school all week.
  • As children go outside for PE throughout the year, it is recommended that their trainers are put in a plastic bag inside their PE bag.
  • For swimming, girls should wear a one-piece swimming costume and boys should wear trunks or swim shorts with an inner lining.



Jewellery

  • For children with pierced ears, only appropriate small stud earrings may be worn.


  • Watches may be worn, providing they are not bulky.


  • No other jewellery should be worn except for medical or religious reasons.
